I loved my visit to Alfie's. When I arrived, it was quite quiet, but the tables quickly filled. Despite this, my meals were served promptly. The pasta was great, but the octopus was the highlight. It was so tender and tasty.

My group enjoyed the afternoon Apertivo, and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! The food was so fresh and delicious particularly the pizza bread with ricotta. We had cocktails which were well made and the staff were attentive and friendly. The table was beautifully laid and the seats very comfortable. We will definitely be back again in the future.

When man has lost all faith in humanity, when the bank balance reads like a tragic haiku, and the landlord is sharpening his pitchfork for next week’s rent—there remains but one saviour. Not a priest, not a banker, but a chef armed with olive oil, garlic, and the soul of a thousand nonnas whispering in his ear. First came the burrata—dear God, the burrata. One slice and I was holding Sicily in the palm of my hand, a pocket of gooey, creamy paradise so divine I briefly forgot English and began screaming “MAMMA MIA” like Mario losing a kart race. Then appeared the pork and veal meatballs. With one mouthful I was no longer in a restaurant—I was inside an episode of Peppa Pig, surrounded by technicolour pork perfection and a suspiciously flavourful Daddy Pig who had clearly sacrificed himself for my joy. Then arrived the calamari fritti. I bit into one ring and was instantly transported into the Mariana Trench, tumbling past squid ancestors, Poseidon himself handing me tartare sauce as my scuba tank filled with basil chilli aioli. And lastly, like a lightning bolt from the heavens, the lamb shoulder landed. This was no ordinary lamb—this was the crown jewel of the flock. It fell from the bone with such grace I nearly filed divorce papers on the spot just to marry it. I gnawed at the marrow like a starving hyena and briefly considered writing my will, leaving all assets to that lamb. This meal was not just dinner—it was baptism by tomato, a communion of garlic bread, a resurrection powered by great staff. Hands down, the chefs here are culinary warlocks and must be stopped before they start charging admission like a theme park. If this food doesn’t make you believe in miracles, then nothing will.

Everything about Alphies was top quality. We tried a variety of the menu, but the most simple staple on the menu, the pizza bread, we would come back and buy that time and time again. It was so light and fluffy, whilst being crisp and charred, and the olive oil and salt balance was perfect!! Interesting twist on the tartare, serving with parmesan, worked well. Thank you, we will come again.

Super great place for a girls dinner or friends dinner. The restaurant is a bit small so you have to book in advance, since it fills up every night (kind of loud as well). We ordered pizza bread with ricotta and burrata cheese, olives, two pastas and the lamb, salad and potatoes. The pastas were amazing, I loved it more than everything else.

We did the $80pp set menu for a wedding tasting + birthdays. The food was delicious and portions were very fair, we all left feeling full. Our server was amazing and very friendly! Highlight for me was the chicken (so juicy), hazelnut tiramisu, polenta chips, and the dips at the beginning.
